- FIX'D

So yeah, I was pretty gutted about not being able to help the little critter out. I e-mailed a bird rescue facility, who replied later in the day telling me to put it in a box and find a way to transport it all the way over there.

I'd've loved to, had the bird decided not to finally disappear.

Now that you mention it... - At work today, a seagull was ran over.......... TWICE! (not by the same driver of course)

- ...

A turkey vulture landed on mimizu's roof today. Also, they don't have pigeons where mimizu lives, which is a shame, as mimizu likes pigeons.

- Do you know there is a pidgeon in Stafford with only one leg

It is true I saw him, he hopped. If you meet him his official name is Sergeant Barry.

- Well...this is of no help now, but if you ever somehow happen to be in the same situation, here is what you do.

Antiseptic wipes, spray or lotion rubbed into the wound will stop it getting infected, if the wound is deep however, you are going to need salt. You are going to need to fill the wound with the stuff until it soaks up all the flowing blood and it will stop any infection. Rinse it out under the tap and go back to the anti septic treatment.

If the wing is broken (you will know if the wing is bent or out of shape, ruffled feathers on the under-wing is also a tell tale sign) you will need two ice lolly sticks (mmm, tasty) bandages and some medical tape. Sandwich the wing between the two popsicle sticks and tightly wrap the bandages round so they will stay in place. Wrap the medical tape around the wing for an improvised "Plaster Cast" if you will.

You may need to take care of the poor thing for a few days, but other than that it should be fine <3
